- Big Brother - posted by TIFFANY on Dec 7th 2008 21:54

Hi Guys,

I`ve just finished watching Big Brother, I`ve really enjoyed BB9 although I did not want to get hooked when it first started, I say the same to myself every year, and only ever hold out for the first 2/3 weeks then I cave in and watch, much to my family`s disgust.  I`m not sure why I do it, I think it is the facination with watching real life people, like a fly on a wall kind of thing.  This year I haven`t really had any favourites although I do hate Rex and his awful girlfriend Nicole.  I was horror struck when they were doing the Michael Jackson Thriller task, and the insensitive way both Nicole and Rex treated Mikey.  It came extremely close to bullying him.  I can`t understand why none of the others didn`t stick up for him, but I feel that has won Mikey alot of support and votes and now he is the favourite to win. I must also own up to something, last week when they were daring each other to do some task for a can of cider and Mo did what he did, yeah you know Bogeygate, I was actually physically sick, I think I must be the only person in the country that has been sick because of Big Brother (let me know if you know differently).  I thought that was actually disgusting and cannot understand how someone could degrade themselves to that extent.  Anyhow less than two weeks now and it will all be a distant memory.

Oh, I must just mention I have been using Nourkrin Hair Recovery Products recently as I had a bout of hair loss and was getting very worried about it, Nourkrin really helped and would recommend to anyone.  Two of my friends have also used it and both are happy with the results.  At the moment it is on offer on Hottest Offers so take advantage.

I`m going on holiday to Cyprus in a couple of weeks and think I have left it to late to get some holiday gear, most of the shops have got their winter stock in, does anyone know any stores still with a good range of summer clothes?  I personally think shops should hold a stock all year round because people do not just go on holiday in the summer anymore like they did years ago, they actually go all year round.

The Olympics are over now for another 4 years and I am so looking forward to when London holds the games as I live about 15 minutes from Stratford.  I`ve already enquired about tickets apparently they are on sale in 2011.  Can you imagine most people are going to want those 2 weeks off work, the country will grind to a halt with all the sickies that are going to be pulled because not all can have the same time off.  As a Manager of alot of staff that is really something to think about as could cause enormous problems, I think alot of organisations will have to have contingency plans in place.  I saw Team GB arriving back from Beijing this afternoon, they have done an absolute amaxing job and we should all be so proud of them as a nation.  I did feel a bit sorry for Seb Coe he looked really tired and has got a huge task on his hands in topping these Olympics.  I wouldn`t want to be in his shoes.

Anyhow guys, speak soon and keep posting!

With Fabio Capello’s England team safely through to the second round of the World Cup, following a 1 nil win against Slovenia, our thoughts can return to Wimbledon. The SW19 tournament kicked off on Monday with Andy Murray flying the flag for the Brits.

Whether its strawberries and cream, Pimms, Cliff Richard singing in the rain or the fans on Henman Hill or Murrays Mound, the traditions of Wimbledon mean there isn’t another event like it in the sporting calendar.

Earlier This Week, Chancellor George Osborne announced brutal spending cuts and tax rises, to aid the UK’s economic recovery. Mr Osborne warned that years of financial mismanagement by the Labour government had made these measures necessary.

Amongst pay freezes for public sector workers and huge rises in capital gains tax, the Chancellor announced VAT would rise from 17.5% to 20% on January 4th 2011. The current rate of 17.5% has been in place since 1991, although this was reduc....

Girl s Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh has been busy promoting a Sky documentary about the history and evolution of jeans. The programme which aired on Monday followed the singer as she travelled across America and Europe meeting designers, visiting factories and denim fashion houses.

The most interesting thing about this programme was the segments on finding the perfect pair of jeans. Despite having a more sizeable budget than most, the pop star told TV presenters Holly and Phillip dur....

The housing market has battled its way through the recession from late 2008 up until early 2010. The market is still not on its way to prosperity but in the last few months we have seen an increase in houses being put up for sale.  No doubt one of the major reasons that the extra increase has come about is due to the removal of Home Information Pack (HIP) by the conservative government.
