So far the year has flown by pretty quickly and soon it will be time to organize trips to keep the kids entertained for the summer holidays. A month can be pretty long to keep the little ones out of mischief, so planning ahead and keeping to a schedule can be a life saver. If you’re thinking of a fun day out, why not try one or more of the major theme parks around the UK. A day out to Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park, Madame Tussands and Legoland no longer has to break your bank account. Persil are now offering a 2 for 1 deal on certain parks. Have a look in Asda as they are definitely going to have the special packages in stock at the moment. A Persil box will cost you around £3.20, which is a pretty great saving when you compare it to a typical adult ticket for most theme parks being around £33. This offer is available until 1st November 2009 so there is plenty of time to plan ahead.
If you’re looking for family deals then Chessington world of adventures might be right up your alley. They have a great offer on at the moment for a family of four to get admission for only £49. This offer is currently available from the GMTV website so head over there right now for further details.
We also found a further deal for Legoland where kids can go free. All you have to do is pop into Asda and buy selected Greens cake mixes. On the cake mix packs you will find familiar cartoon characters like Tom and Jerry, Dora the explorer and Thomas the tank engine. Cake mixes start from £1.49 so you have already made a huge saving before even setting off to Legoland. The coupon is valid until the 30th June 2010.
Remember to take a light lunch for the family so that you save money by not having to buy the food from the park at their extortionate rates. This will also stop your kids from eating all the junk food that they happily provide at theme parks that in turn leaves your kids being sick after they have been on a particularly stomach turning ride! Happy planning parents! |
