- Guide to Buying the Right Sofa Bed - posted by Hottest Offers on Jun 9th 2009 00:34
If your home is quite small or you’re really looking to maximise the space that you have available in your home a sofa bed could be the ideal solution to your accommodation worries. The furniture markets sells a variety of different makes and model’s but you should be able to get the best make for the cheapest price. We have had a few request from customers wanting to know what our thought’s were in buying the best sofa bed so I have had a look around the market to see what is on offer. Here are some recommendations in the hope that its makes your choice a little easier.
Most sofa beds are the traditional kind; they pull out from the seat. These types of beds have been known to be the most reliable and most popular in the market. The quality of your bed will depend on whether the sofa contains a real mattress as opposed to a foam mattress, and has a metal frame as opposed to a wooden frame. If you are looking for the modern designed bed then have a look for those sofas where the back pushes down. These are easier and quicker to use and most come with very stylish finishes. Retailer’s now offer many varieties of foam based sofa beds but beware as it has been known that these types of sofas often are not the most popular customer choice. Reasons are that they don’t last that long and aren’t that comfortable if you’re looking for a good night sleep. Most beds are now around 194 cm long so if you need more room keep hunting around.
Argos has some great sofa beds on offer at the moment. For around £300 you could pick up a bargain. They have a trendy make called Clic Clac. There a few varieties but you can pick up the Ramsay Clic Clac sofa bed for £320. These brands sell well from Argos but again if you’re looking for quality most Clic clac sofa beds come with foam cushioning. If you are looking for a bed that may be more reliable but not as expensive have a look at Lucy Large Metal Action Sofabed. Currently Argos is running a £44 off promotion on the item so you can now pick one up for £396.35 online.
Marshall Ward currently has a 70% off sale online but you can pick up a sofa bed bargain and save up to £50. Online they have a miller sofa bed in the Clic Clac style made of leather that comes in a varity of colours like black, cream, chocolate and red. The bed is now only £199.
Furniture123 has a few different sofa beds. Their best range is the Supra sofa bed in leather. The sofa is on sale now and is priced at £282.98 which gives you over £20 saving. This brand is very sleek and comes with matching cushions which are ideal as pillows for your long awaited rest. However you can purchase the same sofa bed in Amazon for £207.50 so that is a further £75 saving.
Hope you found the column useful. Please keep the requests coming and thanks for your support!
With Fabio Capello’s England team safely through to the second round of the World Cup, following a 1 nil win against Slovenia, our thoughts can return to Wimbledon. The SW19 tournament kicked off on Monday with Andy Murray flying the flag for the Brits.
Whether its strawberries and cream, Pimms, Cliff Richard singing in the rain or the fans on Henman Hill or Murrays Mound, the traditions of Wimbledon mean there isn’t another event like it in the sporting calendar.
Earlier This Week, Chancellor George Osborne announced brutal spending cuts and tax rises, to aid the UK’s economic recovery. Mr Osborne warned that years of financial mismanagement by the Labour government had made these measures necessary.
Amongst pay freezes for public sector workers and huge rises in capital gains tax, the Chancellor announced VAT would rise from 17.5% to 20% on January 4th 2011. The current rate of 17.5% has been in place since 1991, although this was reduc....
Girl s Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh has been busy promoting a Sky documentary about the history and evolution of jeans. The programme which aired on Monday followed the singer as she travelled across America and Europe meeting designers, visiting factories and denim fashion houses.
The most interesting thing about this programme was the segments on finding the perfect pair of jeans. Despite having a more sizeable budget than most, the pop star told TV presenters Holly and Phillip dur....
The housing market has battled its way through the recession from late 2008 up until early 2010. The market is still not on its way to prosperity but in the last few months we have seen an increase in houses being put up for sale. No doubt one of the major reasons that the extra increase has come about is due to the removal of Home Information Pack (HIP) by the conservative government.
