- Must have Jackets this Winter - posted by Hottest Offers on Feb 23rd 2009 23:10
The past winter hasn’t been very inspirational for most of us as we have been through the iciest and coldest blizzard in the last 13 years. Naturally our choice of clothing has included large warm jackets and dark colours – as you can imagine not the most fashion conscious items. The next time you’re on public transport or in a crowd of people have a look and see.
Well it could be time to change all that and pop down the shops to find some spring colours. Celebrities such as Lilly Allen have been doing just that. We have seen her in the past few weeks strutting her stuff in a Chanel tangerine dress and a bag to match. If you pop down the local high street or shop online you will find that hunting for your ideal winter jacket may be a bit of a waste of time as now trench, leather, and mac coats are back on our racks. With these light coats and jacket comes colour too. Now you will find colours like cerise pink, coral and cobalt blue, so follow the trend. Try and buy accessories like belts, earrings and the right heals to team up with your choice of coat to get the overall colourful spring look.
Littlewoods Direct has a cute little number - a double-breasted French Connection jacket that falls down to the hip. It has dropped £28 and is now £111 online. They also sell a South Single breasted canvas Mac in yellow now only £45.

Whether its strawberries and cream, Pimms, Cliff Richard singing in the rain or the fans on Henman Hill or Murrays Mound, the traditions of Wimbledon mean there isn’t another event like it in the sporting calendar.

Amongst pay freezes for public sector workers and huge rises in capital gains tax, the Chancellor announced VAT would rise from 17.5% to 20% on January 4th 2011. The current rate of 17.5% has been in place since 1991, although this was reduc....
Girl s Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh has been busy promoting a Sky documentary about the history and evolution of jeans. The programme which aired on Monday followed the singer as she travelled across America and Europe meeting designers, visiting factories and denim fashion houses.
The most interesting thing about this programme was the segments on finding the perfect pair of jeans. Despite having a more sizeable budget than most, the pop star told TV presenters Holly and Phillip dur....
The housing market has battled its way through the recession from late 2008 up until early 2010. The market is still not on its way to prosperity but in the last few months we have seen an increase in houses being put up for sale. No doubt one of the major reasons that the extra increase has come about is due to the removal of Home Information Pack (HIP) by the conservative government.
